How to make your QR code

Tips for QR codes that scan

  • Keep strong contrast between the code and its background — dark modules on a light background scan most reliably.
  • Print at 2 cm × 2 cm or larger for close-up scanning, and much larger for posters or shop windows read from a distance.
  • Keep the logo small enough that the error-correction area stays intact, and always leave the quiet margin around the code.
  • Use SVG when the code will be resized or sent to a printer; use PNG for slides, social posts and quick sharing.
