- A vCard code is static: the details live in the pattern, so a printed card cannot be updated or tracked.
- If your number or email changes, generate a new code for the next print run.
- Keep the detail list short — very long vCards produce a dense code that is harder to scan when printed small.

- Yes. Scanning shows a contact card with your details and an option to save it. The exact prompt differs slightly between iOS and Android.
- Can I update my details later?
- Not on an already printed vCard code. For details that change, create a dynamic QR code pointing at a contact page you control and edit that destination instead.
- Is it free?
- Yes, static vCard QR codes are free and unlimited, with no account required.
- How small can I print it?
- Keep it at roughly 2 cm × 2 cm or larger, with the quiet margin intact, and test with two phones before printing.
- Can I see who scanned it?
- No. The scan happens entirely on the device, so there is nothing for QRPogo to record. Use a dynamic code if you need scan statistics.
