Dynamic QR Code Generator

A dynamic QR code points at a short QRPogo link instead of a fixed destination. The printed pattern never changes, but you can re-target it whenever you like — and every scan is recorded in your dashboard.

How to create it

  1. Step 1

    Create your free account

Dynamic codes are managed in a dashboard, so they need an account. The Free plan includes 3 dynamic codes.

  2. Step 2

    Add a dynamic QR code

Give it a name, paste the destination URL and optionally file it in a project.

  3. Step 3

    Design and download

Style the pattern, corners, colours and logo, then export PNG or SVG for print or screen.

  4. Step 4

    Edit and track anytime

Change the destination, pause or archive the code, and watch scans arrive in your analytics.

Practical examples

Swap the linked document each season without reprinting table cards.

Campaign measurement

Compare scans per location or channel by giving each placement its own code.

Good to know

  • Scans are counted when the short link is opened, so the destination must be a web address.
  • Analytics are privacy-conscious: QRPogo records country, device, browser and referrer, not IP addresses.
  • If you delete a dynamic code, printed copies stop resolving — pause it instead while you decide.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?
A static code encodes the content itself, so it is permanent, free and untrackable. A dynamic code encodes a short QRPogo link, which means you can change where it goes and measure every scan.
Can I change the destination after printing?
Yes — that is the point of a dynamic code. Edit the destination in your dashboard and every printed copy follows the new link immediately.
What does the scan analytics show?
Scans over time plus breakdowns by country, device type, operating system, browser and referrer, with CSV export.
Do dynamic codes expire?
Only if you set an expiry date or scan limit yourself, or pause the code. Otherwise they keep resolving.
Can I protect a code with a password?
Yes. Password protection and expiry rules are available from the Starter plan upwards.
